‘Tiny Bites’ of News from Morso

“Summers in Tuscany are about dining al fresco for everyone…from the beaches…to the wine country, we always find a way to enjoy the great Tuscan landscape,” reminisces Pino Luongo, when asked about his fondest memories of summer.

-Luckily for city dwellers, the Garden Terrace at Morso provides guests a chance to dine alfresco. Every day this summer, lunch will be served on the Garden Terrace from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm, with the Garden Terrace Lunch Menu featuring summer salads and lighter fare menu items, now available. On Sunday, brunch is served from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Dinner is served on the Terrace or in the main dining room from 5:00 – 11:00 pm Monday – Saturday, and from 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm on Sundays. Join us on the Garden Terrace and treat yourself to the tastes of a Tuscan summer.

-Two signature Summer Sangria Specials – one with the traditional rosé wine base and one bubbling with prosecco – are offered for your enjoyment.

-And don’t forget, on Monday, June 24, Chef Pino’s engaging cooking demonstrations resume in the private dining area. This Monday, the menu features Panetti con Ricotta (warm popovers with ricotta), Insalata di Anguria e Fave (watermelon salad with Arugula Frisee, Fresh Fave Bean & Ricotta Salata), Vitello Tonnato (seared Veal Loin with Tuna, Caper & Anchovy Sauce) and three Melon Compote with Prosecco Granita for desert. Each course will be paired with Pino’s selection of fine wine. $55. Call 212-759-2706 for reservations.
